Garage Options

    I have a detached garage.

It's a block build with concrete floor, galvanised roof & roller door, about 10 years old. I'd like to make better use of the space and use it more.

I'd like to have it where I can have a stereo/TV & gym equipment but don't want it to be a damp. (Currently it is damp in the winter months)

What are the best options to consider for Insulating & heating it with a limited budget?

You could batten and internally insulate it yourself using an insulated plasterboard. Make sure the external facade has a good water resistant render/finish.

    Is the floor insulated?
    Is the roof insulated?

It has a good outside finish.

    Is the floor insulated? No
    Is the roof insulated? No

Insulate the floor, insulate the roof if viable.
Install electrics and some sort of heating.
