Hi folks, I am looking to claim some money back for dental work last year.

I am a (tax paying) landlord, I've logged into PAYE anytime, but it wont let me submit a claim.

My accountant (sister in law) is away for a couple of days, can anyone tell me how i can process the claim or can i?

sorry just to add, myself and my wife are jointly assessed.

As you have non paye income you have to file a tax return to declare your rental income. You can add your medical expenses to it.

I'm assuming i cant just claim the dental expenses without the rest of financial info?

No. You need the whole lot because in claiming a tax relief or credit for a prior tax year, you are declaring that this is all the income I have so my relief should be calculated on it.

Ensure you get a Form MED2 from your dentist - only certain non-routine dental work is allowable.
