Hey guys, I have a job offer as a Civil Engineer in auckland for next feb/Mar, Just wondering what is a good salary for new zealand to live comfortably shall we say. The offer on the table for me is $80k Thanks

and get this:

A Civil Engineer in Auckland earns an average salary of NZ$68,538 per year.

depends on your experience etc. My wife in a process engineer and earns far more than that, friend is a mech eng and earns maybe 20% more. Not sure how they sit in comparison though.
