    Hey All,

Thinking of getting xenon or bi-xenon lights for my 2012 Megane 3.

Just wondering if it's a simple bulb swap for both xenon & bi-xenon or what?

    Thanks all

To be legal you'll also need headlamp washers and auto levelling.
It might be cheaper to upgrade the car, between this and the wheels you'd be spending a bit.

Please don't put in one of those cheap aftermarket HID kits from fleabay that blinds oncoming traffic.

Proper xenon lights need to be fitted to projector headlights, are self levelling and need a headlight washer system to be legal.

Although not legal. They work very well worth projector headlight types than the reflector headlights. It's the retro fit into the reflector headlights type that blinds people.

will a halogen bulb work in a projector headlight? im just wondering as for NCT you would have to take the HID out if you dont have the washers and self-levelling?

Yeah, it's a doddle to swap them (aftermarket kit) for the NCT.

cool, i want to get HiD lights for my car but i dont want the hassle of having to get a new bumber to fit the washers. Want to get the projectors because i have nearly had a bad smash because of being blinded by some idiot with HID in a reflector headlight. Dont want to be one of those A-holes.

Thread moved to DIY as it's not a detailing issue.
