Visa for non EU national after marriage

hi im just wondering has any one got advice or been in the same situation, im in a long distance relationship for two years hes an non eu resident living in europe and will be eu in another 5 years or so but dont want to wait that long to be together, weve been together in person countless times and spend every holiday together and talk every day skype...hes been here on tourist visa met my family as iv met his.so my question is it possible in a year or two to marry either here or there if weve never lived with each other , thank you

Are you Irish or an EU/Schengen Citizen? It makes a difference

Also, what exactly is your question? Which type of visa for which country are you inquiring about? If he is due to get citizenship in five years, he will be back to square one if he changes country even within EU. However, depending on your and his nationality he may get your country's citizenship quicker post marriage (if you both live in that country as well).

Im Irish living here but he's a permanent EU resident of Italy but not a citizen for another 5 years so he needs a visa to come here ,so my question is , is it possible to marry here on a tourist visa if we have never lived together and would a 3/4 yr long distance relationship be sufficient enough,
