Built a PC about two years ago now, AMD FX6300 and a 270x should I upgrade the graphics card or the CPU? She was running games pretty well but I'm noticing noticeable drops now in newer titles.

GPU.

AMD RX 480, or an overclocked RX 470.

Definitely the GPU, some games will show the weakness of the FX6300 more than others (esp with minimum frames) but broadly speaking, a GPU upgrade is the way to go. You can probably get around €80 for the 270x, 4GB 470 is solid value and a big upgrade. GTX1060 3GB either, if you prefer to go Nvidia.
