    Hi so one of my headlight brackets are broken so I was thinking of making a bracket for it just thinking would it pass nct

    As long as it's 'secure' it'll pass, tec7 will be good enough if it holds it securely.

    Just make sure it doesn't throw off the headlight alignment. You might want to get the headlights aligned afterwards if the bracket changes the tilt angle of the headlight because you may fail the NCT. It only costs about €10 to get them aligned though!

    Yep, I used part of a green wheelie bin handle to make a bracket for a Micra headlight before. The car passed the test no bother.

    What kind of car ? Some manufacturers sell bracket repair kits for small money.
