    Parents both in their 60s...want ne to provide a day out.

    Zero ideas

    Travel distance no hassle

    Cant be the burren or aran islands or dublin or clare

    Glengowla mines, Roundstone for a drive around stop for lunch there, on to Ballyconneely then back through Clifden. Cliffs of Moher and Bunratty, lot of options really depending on what they would be interested in..

    If it's from Galways city hit out to Coole park outside Gort would kill a couple of hours and lunch on Gort.
    Handy drive and only takes a few hours not the whole day.

    Also a really cool movie set you can walk to just over the hill from the mines but I didn't tell you about it.
