    Two goods shows both certainly in the running for the title , but field needs to be way bigger .

    Buffy faded badly around season 4 and lives to much of the incredible second season, while a show like Supernatural had an incredible first 5 seasons arc and I was sure would fade away but with a few blips is still going strong on season 12 and would certainly be ahead of Buffy for me.

    Would need to include Penny Dreadful Too for a meaningful discussion

    You've pretty much described Game of Thrones.

    Also, Buffy has a better intro. I like the GoT one too but Buffy's is kick ass.
