    Hi all,
Please excuse my lack of technical knowledge, but I'm wanting to get rid of my present cable TV subscription and just get Free to air channels on a satellite receiver. My problem is that my dish use to connect to the junction box at the side of my house but since we have cable its been disconnected. My question is, can i simply reconnect my dish into the connection in said junction box? As iI don't think drilling through walls and ceiling will go down too well with the Mrs
I could add pictures if what I'm attempting to describe isn't clear

    :0 Tony.... How embarrassing!!
I'm assuming that this is the TV cable???
I'm looking at getting a combo receiver, I have the dish set and I could run the coaxial to this point, but that's were I'm fecked. Do I add a splitter on that cable? One for firgin cable and the other for sly dish?

If it were mine i'd use a terrestrial and satellite combiner at the dish end and then run a single cable to the service box , then use an indoor combiner in reverse at the indoor tv point to provide the satellite and saorview inputs for the combo box.
