    If I'm driving a swb transporter, double axle builders trailer full with scaffolding, anyone know would I be over the 3500kg driving capacity.

    Starting a job tomorrow and need to bring scaffolding. Have the scaffolding in trailer but only passed my test in 2006 and it's been mentioned to me if all the weight is over 3500kg then I'll need to upgrade mylicense

    Doesn't matter how many axles the trailer has and it doesn't even matter what's in the trailer. All that matters is that the MAN / DGVW for the trailer and car don't exceed 3.5t and the tow vehicle is rated to tow the DGVW of the trailer.

    So chances are he needs to upgrade the lisence
