Is there a particular drink that gets you tipsy?

I rarely drink spirits as they go down to easily and it'd be a dear night as I could keep drinking them without them having any effect on me.

But tonight I decided to have a Malibu and Coke.
    Lads I'm drunkish.

I've only had three and although it tastes lovely, I'm baffled as to why this particular drink has me squiffy.

Is there any particular drink that gets you tipsy quicker than others?

(It took me fkin ages to type all this. The amount of mistakes I made trying to spell even the simplest of words)

I dont even care if you take the mick out of me or this thread. I was on the verge of langers when I started it.

Was a promotion in the local one time for pints of bass. Drank 3 of them and was carried out the door!

I'm generally a beer drinker. Never touch spirits. However I do drink cider and that really makes me tipsy. Much stronger than your average beer.

I love Malibu, it's my go to drink. Almost always get happy drunk and I don't even get proper hangovers from it.

You probably find it gets you tipsy because it's so easy to drink that you're drinking it much faster than say whiskey or vodka.

Rum is great tack. You can see how the Pirates got so much work done while downing it. One time I was on a stag do, deep sea angling out in the Atlantic and I was guzzling it down, the only one out of the 20 odd lads that didn't vomit over the side of the boat. Didn't catch anything myself but I was having way too much craic driving the vessel.

Cider gets me tipsy, I get full quickly on cider and I'll be merry.
Vodka takes a long time to get me drunk and it will make me drunker while I sleep so I usually wake up sh1tfaced the next day, much drunker than I go to bed

Yeah, after 10 pints, it's the next one that gets me tipsy. It's always the 11th pint. The rest of the night may feature fat frogs and tequilas...but the 10th pint is the tipping point..,

Some notion stuck to me years ago that I can handle JD just with ice.

    Still do

Very quickly I'm looking up that hill.

    Tequila.

If I start drinking tequila I know it's going to be one of those that I'll probably end up coming to from on a bathroom floor.
