Good bit of the value has been sucked out of the Leopardstown card at this stage but Althiba at 6/1 still looks a good play in the 2.30 despite being a significantly bigger price last night. He looks sure to improve off 74 after staying on from the rear off a slow pace on his handicap debut and definitely travelled like a horse that would appreciate this drop in trip.

I like Magic Circle e/w at 10/ in the November Handicap. Things have gone a bit pear shaped for him this autumn missing out on the race he was saved for because the ground got too quick for him. But I think he's well handicapped off 97 going by his progress earlier in the year and the way he came from miles back in a race suiting the front runners in his prep for the Cesarewitch. I also like Roconga e/w at 12/1 who I thought would struggle in the testing ground the last day but won easily. He's worthy of a 10lb higher mark I'd say and can improve further given he's lightly raced on the flat and getting nicer ground today. Also a big fan of Billy Lee who is a positive in a race like this.

    Wakea 33-1 4.15

5 wins 3 places out of 15 starts and most of those races were very competitive.
I like its ew value here

    4 places 33-1
    2pts ew

Croco Bay 2.25 again for me this week. Missed 16s last night but 12s is still fair. Won around Ascot before and still has a bit of give in his mark

I was told by an unreliable source that the stable have piled into that one.

Draw is fairly bad for his chances out in 23.

    Wicklow Brave in 24

Looks like the source was right for once.
