    No doubt the roof tiles will get a lot of the headlines, but I doubt they are much better than the solar roof tiles already on the market.

    The bigger story is the Powerwall 2, specifically the fact that is has an integrated inverter meaning no more need to purchase a separate inverter. That could well be a game changer for PV installations.

    I like the idea of a PV roof...I can't seen the point of putting a roof on a house and then skinning it in PV when you could just make the roof outtov PV. Not an original Neo-Tesla notion either.

    How is it a game changer? Is it better, more inexpensive or more reliable than any currently available system?
