    Aviation Herald reporting it as a gear collapse on landing, the port engine is on the ground already. If they hit the brakes hard to try and keep it on the runway, that could also be a contributory factor to the fire, the explosion that's seen could well be tyres exploding.

    Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

    44 years old, albeit unlikely to have been age related at all. Was one of the oldest Douglas jets still flying.
