    I think think they'd be worth most of it.
    Yes they are only carrying singles and lamb prices are uncertain.
    However the lambs will be born a month before the main midseason lambs and as singles really should be gone before the midsummer price drop seen every year.
    Really to be value though they need to be sheep for the longer term and this is where I have questions.
    Why were they sponged.
    The 2-3 year olds have they lambed before. They probably should have.
    Why are they being sold. Is it just because of the singles.
    Finally do they look like they have the quality you'd want. That can only really be judged in person.

    Paid 150 for belclare and cheviots scanned in lamb to a Suffolk ram. Mainly twins with their first crop of lambs

    Not bad at that,single lamb with no meal is every bit as good as 2 with meal,the ewes are young aswell plenty of years and milk in them.

    If they are as advertised then yes they are worth most of it.

    I don't think they are worth for the following;
    1. They will lamb at the time of the year when meal will have to be fed.
    2. There is only 1 lamb at best to recoup some money
    3. It would seem seller is getting rid of single bearing ewes thus less prolific
    4. I bought 3 year old ewes with 2 lambs (six +weeks old) foot last May..no meal 230 delivered into the yard.
