Hi! I'm looking for a temporary new home for my 2 dogs and a cat as we have child with allergies.
I am willing to pay for they residency, food and other stuff. I will not forget them behind and will visit them.
Did anyone have any idea where I can find such a place? Thank you.

Never heard of such a place I would say it would be very difficult to find someone to take on that task, Maybe a relative? another option would be in kennels but that would probably cost a fortune, might be easier to get rid of the child.

Not fully sure what you're looking for. If your child has allergies to the extent of needing your pets out of the home, how is it only temporary?

The child will grow up and leave home in 10 or 15 years or so depending on age, then the cat and dogs who will probably be long dead by then can come back home.

Is the child allergic to both cats and dogs? Have you tried the skin patch testing? IgG testing is not very reliable.

Speaking as someone who has allergies and was a child with quite bad allergies, who had a cat and dog in the house growing up- some people think that having any kinds of allergies or asthma means that you cannot have pets, but this is not true.

Obviously if your child is allergic specifically to an animal you should not have that animal.

What does your doctor or allergy specialist say?

I know you are not mean tto reply to the Mod's post, but I love the word smartarsery!

OP, can you give a little more information? How long are you expecting to have to rehome your pets? What is you child allergic to? Have they been alergy tested or is it a doc assuming that you have pets therfore it must be the pets that are causing the allergies?

There are people on here with their own pets and allergies that I'm sure can give advise on managing it as well.

Just on this OP… I have a 11 year old house dog.

Last year I developed allergies (at 37 which is old), went to 2 GP’s both cited the dog, I went to BlackRock hospital and had a full array of tests done, it’s not the dog (which I knew in my heart anyway) I’ve developed allergies to dust (it can happen at any age).

So just on the allergy thing 99% of GP’s immediately suggest the animals are the issue and if it’s not an instant reaction when the animals are around its more than likely not the animals – something else is triggering it. Only proper comprehensive tests will get you near the right answers. I had a patch test, blood test etc.

    Best of luck

We have that problem here. Both me & my youngest who also has other issues going on. 3 of the 4 dogs are ok but one has a very heavy undercoat & this causes us both problems. We both take antihistimines & I regularly groom the dogs & rake out the undercoat on the worst offender. The dogs I have are good for allergy sufferers but no breed is perfect as even saliva can affect people. The dogs are outside during good weather & indoors in the evenings & sleep inside. We all spent a lot of time together as often my daughter is not in school.

She had a terrible reaction to our Guinea Pigs but rather then rehome either the pigs or my daughter we keep them in my older daughters bedroom. We also have a pet bird but nobody reacts to her.

I have found as time has gone on my daughter is developing a better tolerance to the dogs & hayfever now is a much bigger issue for her.

Weirdly, one of mine is the same breed as Knine has and it's that one that can bring me out in a rash when I'm rundown. The other dog whose breed isn't known for being good with allergies has no effect on me. I couldn't live with cats at all though - dander and saliva makes me wheeze and swell like a balloon.

Anyway OP, I'm a little bit confused about what you're looking for - is it a home for your pets temporarily while you figure out if it's dogs or cats causing the allergic reaction? If so, bear in mind that even different breeds of animal can have varying reactions so you might need to test them individually. Also, my reactions (if they're only mild) can depend on something as little as how tired or stressed I am. Or have I picked you up wrong and you're looking for a permanent home where you can visit them?
