Second car 10k budget

    Hello,
    We are looking to become a 2 car family. Currently driving an 07 Auris which I'll keep, small mileage every year.

    Second car will be used 40km round trip on back roads every day. Ideally a big boot, 4 door, low maintenance costs.

    We were thinking avensis/ insignia/ mondeo.

    Any advice greatly appreciated

    We have a 2.0 TDCI Mondeo, 2010.

    As saloon cars go it's a cracker, huge boot, plenty of cabin space, nice drive and fast enough 140bhp, 50+mpg mixed driving, has been very reliable. Feels a bigger car than the avensis, never been in an insignia.
