Broadband internet old house issues

    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can help...

I moved into a house in Monastery in Clondalkin a month ago, and have been experiencing huge issues in relation to getting broadband into the house - the main reasons being there are faults in the lines running into the house. Now, rather than get onto my landlord with this tiny issue to him, I thought I'd post here first.

Would anyone know of a company that offer unlimited mobile broadband? This appears to be the only option! There are 5 people in this house so unlimited is the best option, if at all possible...

    Thanks a million!

mobile and wireless broadband always has a cap on it, as its a shared medium. The only exception I can think of is Three, but I couldn't recommend them, their network seems very congested (also i think they have some Fair Usage limit though it may not be enforced).

Digiweb have a wireless service Metro, with a 350GB cap - could this be an option? I'm assuming you can't get Virgin Media.

With 5 tenants any kind of limit/FUP is asking for trouble.

If you pay 20e/mo each for your own 3 AYCE that could work but its gonna be really slow at peak. Other than that, get it fixed. Have OpenEir indicated you need to trench the drive?
