Graduate Pharmacy

I'm a final year chemistry student in TCD. Always wanted to do pharmacy but didn't get the points first time round so took science instead. Does anyone have any experience of going through pharmacy as a graduate? Is it worth the extra 5 years and 60,000 in fees or am I better off just entering into drug discovery research?
