Hi, I'm just looking for advise we got our attic converted 3 yrs ago, we hav condensation on the felt only on one side of the attic, the south facing side is ok, we think we know the problem, the builder put kingspan insulation to close with no gap to the felt. Any advise on how to tackle this, kind regards

Take off all the slates /tiles/battens/felt/insulation and start again with vapour barrier insulation/breathable felt/2 battens/ slates

    Or

take down all the plasterboard/insulation internally, create ventilation cavity, install insulation followed by vapour barrier taped and sealed, then re plasterboard tap and skim. And add some vents externally through eaves/ridge or slate/tile.

    That's it

Hi that's sounds like a huge job and very expensive, basically taking off half our roof 😨
