    Hi All,

    Is there any alternative to the an post registered post service, imo €6.25 to send a signed for letter that weighs about 20 grams is absolutely scandalous...

    National couriers and the big shipping firms. They usually have document bag sizes which are significantly larger; but often dearer than the base rate for an envelope.

    It is not viable to have a low volume business delivering envelopes any cheaper than that; so its the big boys only.
