Can I get farm assist when in a partnership?

I'm currently farming full time in partnership with my father. Farm had a very low stocking rate when I went on board so in the past year I've only taken about 4000 euro out of the account in wages and the rest has been reinvested in stock. There is not enough money being generated for now to pay wages and buy more cattle. Is it possible to apply for farm assist when living at home and being in a partnership? My father has another income coming in so it would only be for myself I would be trying to get it to have some few euro to spend. I've tried reading on citizensinformation.ie/en/social_welfare/social_welfare_payments/farming_and_fishing/farm_assist.html but it doesn't make it clear how partnerships can apply.
    Thanks

Unless you've a very big farm and intend milking I'd be doing what your dad's at. Keep a low stocking rate and go find a half decent job. No matter what way you look at it and how rose tinted your glasses may be, you more than likely will never be able to make anything half reasonable farming.

really you need to put a call into SW, if your living at home then your dads other income may affect things. One thing I can say is that the assessment criteria for Farm Assist was changed in the budget so from Jan 1 the assessment will be a bit easier on folk to get through.

I'd urge anyone who missed the cutoff marginally recently to get back on after Jan1 and get assessed again.
