Oil Boiler Reset Button on Stat Tripping

    Hi,

The reset button on the thermostat on my oil(kerosene)boiler keeps tripping. Its trips intermittently after roughly every third use.

It has been recently serviced but before that had been out of use for over 8 months. The radiators are all heating fine.

Any ideas what could be causing the boiler to overheat and trip?

    Try it 5° lower.
If not ask service man to compare like for like with his digital thermostat. And replce if necessary.
His flue gas Analiser should have that faculty useing, see photo.
