I have over 18months experience as a named driver but it is not consecutive.

First one is 11 months and the next 6 months.
Are there any insurers there that ill take this as 17months so I can get the 1yr experience discount?

Is there anything I can do here?

    Unlikely tbh.

Best bet is to ring the company you had the 11 months with and see will they give you the benefit of the year.

    Ok thanks for that.

The gap is slightly over 4 weeks between the two policies.
I've been in touch with the broker, but sure enough they passed the book.
The insurer RSA have said no but don't seem certain either.

    Insurance companies certainly aren't flexible.

The broker cannot make the decision. Best bet is to contact the insurer themselves directly and explain the situation.
