New eircom router a few months old, started to notice some websites will not open for example http://www.airlingus.com and the connection to server comes up a timed out. Many other webpages work fine. I have defaulted the router. Spoke many times to 'eir tech support' I have tried to get to that website using the wifi and hardwired connection on multiple devices with no luck (3 pc and 3 mobiles) but can easily connect with the same devices but not while at home. Connection speed test says 3mb down but 300kb up. Any help appreciated.

Try turning off UPnP, the Zyxels had a bug with that.

The other spelling redirects there as well.

    Indeed it does :o

I never tested it, because of the possibility that it was a Typosquatting URL.

What are you using as your client? If it's through a wifi connection to the router, I'd suggest you try a wired connection.

I have a similar situation where I go through a wifi extender to get to the router, it times out on some sites, while it opens others no problem. When I change back my connection directly to the router, no problem.

Tried three different pcs, two mobiles connected either via wifi or wired with no luck. Factory defaulted router also with only one pc connected via wired....no luck. I havent been back there since i posted this so i will try your first suggestion and see how we get on with that. Thanks
