    Thinking of heading to Lanzarote in January, what is it like, is there restaurants open etc..

    Weather doesn't change much, it's sub tropical. Everything will be open.

    It will be quiet and weather may not be perfect all the time but our favourite time to go. Always able to seaswim except for one year.

    I see the average temperature is 20℃, does it get any hotter?

    I would rechon on 23 degrees being average for daytime on decent day, hotter in sheltered spots and maybe down to 16 degree at night with a breeze so need a windproof light jacket.
