I'm a bit stuck for height here.
I've a good roof externally insulated 100mm plus wool between joists and 50mm thermal board underneath.
There is one external wall that is cavity, I've 100mm thermal board on the other side of it.

However the floor is not great laid by the previous owner no damp protection.

I put Polly bond on it and a screed. I painted that with thermal paint and put warm backed lino on it.

It bone dry it's just cold.

I was thinking of lifting the lino. I've a good plastic SBR solution I got form Johnston chemicals used for tanking . I'm going to paint the floor with it anyway just to use it up it's good stuff.

Anyway I don't have much height in the room and I've about a 35mm step down into it now too that I could fill.

I would not like to screw anything into the floor. I'd like to keep the plastic membrane intact.

So I'm look for a good insulation in this space something foil backed.

Is a floating floor the job to go for here? Looking for a recommendation for the insulation, where to get it at good value and the type of floor i could lay over it please.

    Thank you
