Vodafone to Sky

Im just enquiring about the setup of my vodafone in the house,i have standalone broadband and want to switch to sky because it'll be cheaper for the same broadband with tv etc,is it a simple switch? sky seem to want the UAN and a landline number,I cant remember the landline number,would vodafone have kept the line active…
