Will I still get my full amount on JSA?

I'm wondering if I will get the full amount of my job seekers allowance I'm currently getting €188 while I work part time?

I'm apart of a recruitment agency and my shifts per week will vary from 1 shift to at most I'd say 4. They are 4 hour shifts all the time so I will be working under 20 hours a week even on the busiest week.

I just wasn't sure as to whether my JSA will get deducted or how it will work that now I'll be doing work shifts..

My shifts will vary but they will be 4 hr shifts.. Example: This week im on 3 days at 4 hour per day but next week I could be working less or more days but it'll never be no more than 4 days a week I would say which would equal to 16 hrs.

I'm just curious as to how much my JSA will be still claimable or if I'll still get the full amount because my days of work per week will fluctuate as the roster is done weekly..

You are only allowed work three days and still keep some of your benefits

Thanks but I know that. I'm wondering how much they'll take though as some weeks I could work no shifts but then some weeks could be just 1 shift or 2,3,4 how do they know how much to deduct etc?

It's means tested. So you have to fill out some forms for welfare to tell them how much you make by the hour. They'll work it out and send you a letter stating how much you'll be paid daily. I know it's different for everyone but I was doing three day weeks and they were deducting €30 per day worked and paying me for the days unworked. So instead of the €188 per week I was receiving €92 per week plus my wages from work. If you go over the three days one week, I don't think you get anything for that week, as you'd be considered to have worked full time for that week (I stand to be corrected on that one) but if you work under the three days, they'll pay for the days that you didn't work.

Thanks for the info. I'm sorry this might seem like a silly question but will they automatically know how many days I'm working a week? Because as I stated I might work more or less than 3 days each week and am wondering will they automatically know that or will I have to keep going down to inform them how many days I will be working?

You will fill in a slip every week and hand it in to your local welfare office,if you follow that link I posted earlier it explains how to calculate how much you will receive each week

Yes they give you 4 slips every month, first is to be collected and the others will be posted to you. You have to fill them out each week and get it signed by your employer and send them back by a deadline each week. These are sometimes referred to as the X and O dockets. They have to be returned to the social each week.
