WRC 6 (rallying game) PS4

I saw this on Reddit and picked it up. It may be of interest to someone here.

The PSN store in Indonesia have the new WRC game for 79,000 Indonesian Rupiah which is about €5.60. Sony have acknowledged its a mistake on their part, they forgot a zero, but have said to take advantage of it for the weekend of you wish.

To get it you need to follow 3 steps.

1. Create a new PlayStation account and choose Indonesia as your country, pick a random address from google maps when it looks for one. Make your PS4 the primary PS4 for this new account so any games you get through it can be played on your normal account.

2. Buy a PSN Indonesia gift card. The smallest amount you can buy is IDR100000 which is about €9. I got mine on Seagm.com, other people got it on offgamers.com but I'm sure there are plenty of different ways to get it. I went with Seagm because I could checkout as guest and pay with PayPal so I didn't have to create an account with them.

3. Log into your new account, redeem the gift card to add funds to your account and purchase the game.

Again, just passing this along, if anyone was planning to buy this game anyway it might save ye €50.

The career mode in this makes it a very good companion game for DiRT according to some reviews, so I've gone ahead and picked it up for €10.20 total.

Great deal as it only came out 2 weeks ago and is £40 on Amazon/GAME. €70 in Gamestop here of course :rolleyes:

Sorry, i mixed it up with a different site, I actually signed in using google on that one, I didn't have to fill in everything, It was easier than registering. I definitely paid by PayPal though.

Yes, i just figured it out a minute ago. I was over complicating things for myself having currency/location set to ID. All sorted now. thanks op. will have fun playing this tonight.

What am I doing wrong?

I cannot seem to purchase from seagm and the other site is sold out of cards. I'm trying to sign in Google and fake Googles. Do I need to put in an Indonesian profile and phone number?

Trying to add it in the psn account as a gift card but its chopping off the card number end?
Or I'm using the wrong option..

Use the PIN not the card number.

Thanks, that did it - figured logic would mean the prepaid card number = card number on psn! Wrong....

I just searched for "IDR 100,000 PSN Card" its a bit tedious going through the results but you should find something.

its a 100,000 card your need, loads of sellers online, you will just have to try a few to get stock as I suspect this offer is selling a lot

Yeah, anything you purchase can be downloaded at any time or re downloaded again to the same account

You can, once you have it purchased its available on that account forever as far as I can gather.

They won't work, it's a region specific offer and you need Indonesian top up cards applied to an Indonesian PSN account

I tried them this morning, after 10 mins waiting I noticed in the order status it said "Awaiting Manual Verification" and they wanted me to send them a utility bill as proof of address to confirm the order. Not a chance.

I wasn't charged though, have they debited your card?

Hey Maximoose, I'm not saying that particular website is legit as I don't know anything about them but I remember having to send a utility bill to overclockers.co.uk before as proof of address. I was surprised by it but I know beyond doubt they are a legit website so I did it. I'm just telling you so you know this isn't as unusual a practice as you might imagine.

No.. I got a email just now saying refunded.

Still at the cheaper price yeah.

I struggled to find any sites yesterday selling 100k IDR cards that weren't dodgy looking or didn't require payment by bank transfer.

Offgamers still have 200k IDR for sale, price has gone up to €16 though and there isn't a great lot you can spend your change on.


(Also, this game is pretty unforgiving! Liking it so far though)

I don't think they email the codes, if you login and go to "Buy history", click into the order there should be an option for "show code"

Exactly, as maximoose said you don't get an email, its added to your Seagm account under my game cards. I've attached mine as an example

Sign in as the fake account, make the console your primary.

All other accounts signed in can then play it

That's what I was getting at when I asked if it was possible to split! I've got half left over.

Didnt see your post. Trying it now with luap. Im unfamiliar with the process but i have passed on the code which has 121000 left in it.

Worse case scenario you get the game for €16 which is still a bargain and have 121000 idr to spend on something else. Might be handy during a sale

Codes can only be redeemed once so the 200000 is on your account and can only be used by you.

Yep, discovered that pretty quickly. No big deal. Have my eye on a couple of small games to use the balance on.
