Canadapost/An post tracking

Hi guys,

I am waiting for an item I bought on ebay from a canadian seller, he shipped it 2 weeks ago via Xpresspost, the tracking on canadapost says it arrived in ireland last saturday but nothing else, I put the tracking number into an post track and trace but it says it is not recognised..
It is now past the expected delivery date displayed on canadapost website..
Has this ever happened to anyone? does anyone know when I can expect it to arrive?

Canada is a hot country in Customs eyes. If the lads in the DMC are behind I wouldnt be surprised if its in a queue for an inspection.

Is your tracking number in the standard format like RS000000000IE or another? Sometimes there will be two tracking numbers, the internal one used by the courier and their international "partner number" or some other name. If its non standard check for a second on the Canadapost site.

hot country? and yeah it's a standard tracking number.. no other numbers on the canadapost website either..

Canada has freely available Marijuana. Idiots try and post home etc so mail from there will be more rigorously inspected.
