Looking at buying new Ifor Williams cattle trailer. Thinking must be bit of value in NI/UK with sterling gone so low. Anyone have any experience or recommendations for dealers in NI/UK? Thanks

Lamont trailers in Coleraine or Lisburn. Good to deal with for Ifors.

been pricing a new trailer myself recently, fair old difference between northern dealers and lads down here, more than enough to justify travelling up north

Depending on where you live Stanley in Kilkenny is generally competitive .. saying that it was earlier in year when I was shopping

Anybody price any trailers lately. I've gotten prices for Murphy Aerlite and Tuffmac 12x6 with tank and dividing gate both around 6500.

Neighbour got a new nugent 12x6 down from the north 2 months ago for 4500+vat. Probably be a small bit cheaper now with the way sterling has gone in the meantime.

Think that's the run of it in South but you should try NI/UK.

In relation to Ifor Williams trailers, I'm told that there are "standard" and "big" wheel options on the 12 x 5'10. I think maybe the big wheels are just wider as opposed to higher - anyone know which is supposed to be better? - trailer would be pulled by jeep as opposed to tractor.
