Remove scratches and swirls

    Hi all.
I recently had the whole drivers side of my 08 mondeo estate resprayed tmdue to a fender denier....and it looks amazing ..not a blemish on that side of the car.

The passenger side however Dr is full of scratches and swirls.

I'm not a complete novice to car cleaning....I use a pressure washer and car shampoo and a soft Mit to wash it.....but it has been through automatic washes in the past and doesn't look as good.

So what's yhe easiest way for me to get the passenger side looking half decent?
    Buffer machine and some compound?

    Thanks in advance.

Mods: thought I had posted this in detailing...please move if needed

Machine polishing will sort it. Either a light job to restore the colour and gloss, or a bigger job to remove the swirls fully.

Hand polish or glaze will give you temporary fixes.

    Thasks.
Have a mate who has a buffering pad ..the rotating / oscillating ones....a bit if t-cut or compound ...buff and then wipe with a towel?

You mean a Dual Action polisher. If he has one, I'm sure he knows what he's at.

There would be better options than T-Cut.
But yes, essentially some polish on the pad, work the area, buff it off, inspect and repeat if necessary!
Remembering to apply a wax or sealant after for protection and enhancement!
