    Hi All,

I'm looking for a 24 “ wheel road bike, to suit a boy 8+ . Must have STI shifters and be in good condition. I’m based in Dublin but can travel for the right bike.

    Does anyone have anything ?

Wiggins range in Halfords is well worth checking out. They are really nice.

They have a full range all the way up to 700c and tiagra gearing.

Thanks Fatbloke, I'd had a look at that already. Spec seems good but the "signature reverse fork" just looks so wrong - mind you the young lad might think differently...

Ha ha ha. Just copped your username. Honkhonkpunch :D

Someone was telling me that the forks are designed to be reversible to tailor the handling for a kids first road bike experience. Presumably if it was the other way then the wheelbase is longer and the steering lazier.

Looks a bit funny in the pics alright but I suppose Pinarello have gotten away with funny looking forks for years :)
