    Hi all,
Just a quick question in relation to tax returns as 2 individuals vs as a married couple.

My situation is that both me and my wife work full time as Paye workers on similiar income and we both are in the higher tax band.
Is there any benefit of joint assessment or should I stay as single assessment.
    Thanks

No harm, and if one of you lose their jobs or take a year out if you are joint you can change straight bands/credits away. If single you can't change to joint straight away.
