Rock head gasket and engine management light (Fiesta)

Hey, my good owl 1.3 Fiesta is leaking oil like no tomorrow, I've waisted all my money on buying 7+ bottles of oil for the past week at €11.49 a bottle, I have 2 mechanics and both can't fix until Monday, 1 of them is a Ford mechanic working in the ford garage, another is just a local garage. Only problem is both are telling me different as to what's wrong with it, The Ford mechanic told me there is wires cut under the engine and that's why the management light is on, where as the other guy is telling me it's lamba sensor lights. Also the ford mechanic is saying it's just the rock head gasket gone and not the cover also where as the other is telling me both is gone. I don't really have a clue what's gone in the car. I don't know who to really bring my car to on Monday to get fixed as I don't know what's exactly wrong with it.. Thoughts?
PS : I've only got a second hand engine (32,000km) on it 1.5 months ago as the head gasket went so I shouldn't even be having these problems!!

Rocker cover gasket is not head gasket. How's your coolant?
Lamba sensor wires severed will give you check engine light.

I've been told by both mechanics that the guy I got to put in the second hand engine basically fuc*ed my car up, I've had nothing but problems since I got it back. Clutch was perfect before I gave it and got it back the clutch was fuc*ed. The ford mechanic told me the other day that the new clutch is now fuc*ed too as the mechanic put it on too tight so it's burnt.

The coolant is perfect, I drive for 5 minutes only and there's smoke coming out of my engine. I opened bonnet yesterday after driving for 5 mins and the smell of burning oil and smoke, it's ridiculous, I've only spent 800 on the car 1.5 months ago and now more trouble

'A qualified ford mechanic' in Glenealy.
Was certainly not qualified cause he ****ed the car up.

If its just rocker cover gasket and fix lambda wiring it shouldn't be a big deal.

It does sound like there are other nasties already showing themselves with potential for more to show up though... 7L sounds like an awful lot unless theres no rocker cover gasket at all, and how long would it take to wreck a cat with lambda disconnected?

The mechanic who put the engine in, told me that he's ordered 'a part' for the engine management light, 1.5 months on and still no contact, only contact was looking for more money when I gave €700 already. I just hope it's rock gasket and not the cover also cause I was told ford can't get the cover , they've to order it in and it's over €300 for that part alone.

As stated the engine check light is on because the wires going to the lambda sensor are cut or broken. The oil leak seems very bad, the rocker gasket can cause oil leaks if broken or not fitted properly.

Obviously nobody here can say for certain what's wrong as we can't see the car but can I ask, is there a reason you haven't returned the car to the mechanic that fitted the engine? He needs to stand over his work and be accountable.

The clutch is the next thing, what exactly was tightened to much? I'm really confused by this one... it's possible the heavy oil leak has contaminated the clutch and caused it to slip. Did the mechanic move the gearbox to examine it? Don't see how he could know anything without physically seeing the set up.

The main reason I'm not going back to this mechanic who gave me all these problems, let's just say we had a few words with each other and didn't end well. So I know for a fact he'll **** the car up even more this time on purpose and that's it all gone. Also the ford mechanic told me the clutch is very heavy. And lets just say I'm parked in traffic, I take my foot off the clutch and the car sounds very noisy,, like a tractor basically and then sounds perfect again when I put my foot on the clutch, I was told this is cause the new 1.5 month old clutch is ****ed.
