Is it a good sign?

We fully applied for mortgage 2 weeks ago. They came back today asking couple questions about certain direct debits on my bank statements and wanted my P60's from last couple years. I'm assuming this is a good sign instead of just getting a flat out refusal? Or is that just wishful thinking? I gave all the docs they needed and they said they would let me know before end of the week. Does it sound positive?

I wouldn't read too much into it. Looks more like they are just getting around to looking at your application now, they will have standard checks they run through on them all.
