Hi im newish to working in lidl store now but only problem I have right now is using that cash counting machine they have. I have been shown good few times now but it was rushed so havent got to grips with it yet although i know its prob very simple.

Can someone here that works for lidl please tell me how to do it properly step by step as i always do it wrong and have to get sum1 to do it for me and dont want to have to ask the managers again!!

    Your help would be great

Ah...you must be a member of this snowflake generation I keep hearing about. You are seriously asking on an anonymous forum for training on a company specific (and possibly classified) in house procedural task that you are unclear how to perform because you fear asking one of your actual in store work colleagues? What next, "where are the staff toilets in your branch of Lidl?" Apologies if this sounds harsh but when you start working (and living) in the real world, confronting issues directly is all part of how you learn and toughen up and acquire the skills needed to navigate and overcome challenges (be they other people, tasks, situations, life).

Did you take notes when you were trained in? Take a pen and paper the next time you are trained on this (or anything else) and just be honest and say that you haven't gotten to grips with it yet and would really appreciate one more demonstration. Insist that you sit in the hot seat as part of the training (ie you do it while your trainer supervises) as opposed to watching over someone's shoulder as you will absorb what needs to be done so much quicker when you are doing it yourself. You may run the risk of the manager being initially annoyed but if they are any way decent, they will appreciate that you were upfront and that in the longterm you will be fully up to speed. Failing that, is there a colleague that can show you as a favour?
