Hi. I am very new to this and we are literally only at the beginning process on trying to get our first home built. Just wondering would anyone know approx how much it would cost for a 4 bed dormer bungalow to be built including everything eg solicitors, etc. We are hoping to buy a site with fpp. We have met with our banks…

Hi. I am very new to this and we are literally only at the beginning process on trying to get our first home built. Just wondering would anyone know approx how much it would cost for a 4 bed dormer bungalow to be built including everything eg solicitors, etc. We are hoping to buy a site with fpp. We have met with our banks but they haven't given us a lot of information in relation to this. Also how does this new scheme for first time buyers work that the government has brought out. In relation to self builds, my husband is a plasterer not registered would he be allowed to do the plastering side of things himself.
