Myanmar entry

Anyone been to Myanmar recently? Do you need evidence that you're leaving the country before they let you in e.g. return flight? I was going to leave by land border into Thailand but not sure if I can get entry to Myanmar without a return ticket. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Rang the Myanmar embassy in London this morning and they said I don't need to have a return flight booked. I can leave by land border.
