Passat B7 Trim

    Howdy,

A 2012 Passat S model has popped up with certain spec I really want. Enough to have me compromise on certain things.

For instance; its a very basic radio though im thinking of getting one of the newer Andriod head units.

It has the older climatronic button set, but I've learned that it can be replaced with the newer buttons nice and easy.

It doesn't have any of the exterior chrome trim. Can this be simply retrofitted with OEM bits or is it a hassle to get things like lower door chrome strips retrofitted?

I see loads of stuff on ebay but I'm unsure of whether its OEM or low grade general stuff.

Btw. Would the Highline/Sport have special car system settings which the Andriod head units from the likes of Joying would render useless?

Would the Highline or Sport even have any special car settings over the S model?

    Thanks

I would avoid and hold tough until next year as a Highline should come into budget with a weak pound, the S model is really awful..
