Gaming laptop recommendation - ~1k

I've not really kept abreast of developments the last while but I may have an opportunity to spend money shortly.

Got a PC in March which is very entry level - but fit my budget at the time

Now I may be able to spend some more - up to €1000 - and wouldn't mind something that can play latest games. Laptop preferred over desktop this time but not essential.

So what's the best value in that price range?

Preferences
good gfx card
ssd boot drive with decent storage drive (1tb hopefully)
min 15" screen - preferably 17"
option to get a docking station for ease of transition to desktop. I'll be using it for work as well - so will want larger screen and external keyboard/mouse.

Not married to any supplier and willing to buy from abroad - esp with sterling the way it is right now.

I think you'll have to compromise somewhere with your budget, most gaming laptops are generally on the wrong side of €1K.
As a starting point, you could take a look at the Dell Inspiron 15 Gaming series:

They have a model under your budget @ €899 and another at €1099. The latter has pretty much all you ask for (SSD, 1TB HDD, i7 Skylake processor and plenty of RAM) but the compromise is the graphics - it packs a 960M which is ok for 1080p gaming but won't set the world on fire.

Another option worth considering the Dell outlet (I'm not plugging Dell, but I usually find I can wrangle a good deal from them!). The stock can be hit and miss and you need to check it often. Buying from it is bit of a pain (you have to call them) and they operate their own exchange rate from sterling to euro. At the moment they have 10% off Alienware and Inspiron laptops (http://www.dell.com/learn/uk/en/ukdfh1/campaigns/shop-outlet-deals).

Looking to get a good performance laptop (still considering a desktop) for general use and games such as minecraft and GTA V

The only reason not decided on a desktop is just it portability.
