Passat B6 engine vibration

    Hi all,
    I've got a 2008 Passat 2.0 Tdi common rail engine 6 speed, 155k miles.
    About 8 weeks ago, i took off in first gear (engine was fairly cold) and the car jerked an awful lot. I just put it down to me not giving enough accelerator. 2 weeks after that same thing happened again but second gear gave a few little jerks as well.
    Fast forward to last week after a relative calm, same little jerks again in first gear but gone once speed increases.
    Then yesterday, put key in the ignition, press clutch and pushed key for ignition, loads of vibration on idle ( not sure did i release the clutch) but pressed the accelerator and after a few seconds all vibrations stop and away we go.
    I've scanned for faults and I've no codes, fuel economy is excellent and i don't hear any noise from the flywheel.
    Any ideas???

    Havent seen any smoke to be honest. Been perfect again all week (touch wood).
