I'm planning to get some replacement windows and doors. My house is a cold redbrick in Dublin about 100 years old. I'm trying to make the house warmer but keep the house attractive.

I've looked at products from Munster Joinery and am getting a quote this week. I've had recommendations about this company but I've also seen some negative feedback.

    Any recommendations or otherwise?
I need to replace 2 patio doors - I'm thinking of aluminium. (Ecotherm).

I need a front door - 4-panel with fanlight. I'm possibly going with wood but am a little nervous about ending up with drafts. I think PVC still looks very plastic.

I also need some sash windows.

    Any recommendations - advice ?
