It heads to the west, following a great circle route.

I develop Superior Solitaire when I'm not procrastinating on boards.ie.

It's fine. You get a meal. You have to pay for alcohol. There's movies.

A system of "tracks" are used to cross the North Atlantic. A track is a defined route, like a motorway in the sky. The position of these tracks vary from day to day to take account of weather conditions, favourable winds etc. Thus the routes flown across the Atlantic vary from day to day. Here is an example of the West-bound tracks for a given day:

You'll notice that they aren't straight lines. This is because, as mentioned, they follow as closely as possible a great circle route. This is the shortest route between two points on a globe. You can read more about the track systems here.
You can also see the route taken by a recent flight from SNN to EWR by clicking here.

Flew from SNN to ORD during the Summer with UA and Beer and Wine was complimentary, however there was a charge for Spirits. One can assume the same applies on the EWR leg.

The service was grand. Asked very nicely in Shannon and was upgraded to an exit row free of charge. Sockets on board, but a charge for WiFi, but this can be paid via UnitedMiles.

757's get the same service as any other aircraft.
A/B checks on a regular basis and C/D checks at their designated intervals.

You'll be fine, safe as houses.

As can be witnessed here, in aviation you should be quite specific in your use of terminology. ;)
However the OP has been given a thoroughly comprehensive review of the UA offering (in the cabin, under the wing and routewise!)

Haha. I was reading through it thinking, what are they on about. Didn't know whether they were pulling my leg or not. I was asking about the cabin service lol but thanks for all the rest of the answers
