Pope into a local music ship this morning lookin for a new bass. Seen a beautiful 2nd hand squire jazz bass. Vintage modified 70s re issue. Currently retailing on thomann for 380e and shop is looking for 20e second hand, having first said they'd take 150e for it. Just looking for opinions as to opinion on shops price.

Sounds like a decent enough price to me, assuming it's in good condition.

Origional post should read 280e. Originally wanted 150e then asked for 280e

    +1.

OP, have you looked on "Adverts.ie" ? Lots of good bargains to be had there.

depends on how pristine you want it, and what tidying you can do yourself.

    My son is lefty.

I got him a bass for €20 plus post.

OK, it had been de-fretted and the body was..... reliced

filler and respray, and a refret took... maybe 10 hrs work and max of €20
