If they are the imported ones from Eastern Europe, they look nice, only thing I heard about them was from a mate that went to see them and he was happy enough with them except for the paint, reckoned there was the absolute minimum and would need stripping and re painting if you were hoping to get them to last. That's not a criticism from me as I haven't seen them in the flesh, just an informed opinion from a lad in the trade and someone else may have a totally different one. Best to go and look see 👌👌

BigWill did you ever hear the price of those cabs? Have a chance at a c and g cab in good condition and was wondering would it be any good? There seems to be a lot of them on masseys on donedeal fairly rotten, maybe this is a problem? Definitely think they look the best cab on a 135.

1968massey135 them C&G cabs new are about €2500 but the integral wings seem to rot on them .possibly as powder coated or not washed off from corrosive muck etc

Talked to a lad that fitted one to a MF165 for a customer, he didn't know the price as his customer bought it but it was cheaper than the C&G but in his opinion not a patch on a C&G, didn't fit well and had a lot of modifying etc to fit, very light steel, felt it was way too light for a 165 and no proper certification that he could identify, his advice is to not fit them and he would only use the C&G anymore and he would sandblast and either galv or reprint the wings before fitting them as they do rust badly.

Seen one of Valdi cabs on a 35 last week, definitely one of the nicest looking cabs on a small Massey, rubber mounted, lights fitted, good fitted floor, have to say I was somewhat impressed, hinges on back window very light etc and fouls the bonnet flap on the 35 but it's good value o be honest. Paint is bad though, lad fitted it and brought her for spin before customer came to collect it, gave it a quick and soft hose down with powerhouse to clean muck that splashed under wings and red paint fell off it revealing the primer. Awful disappointing for the young lad just about to impress his uncle with the job he had done. That's a pain in the arse as the paint would need stripping and painting, no use painting over badly adhered paint. Cab was @1750 delivered and by all accounts, supposed to be decent chaps to deal with. Pity about the piss poor paint on them but if you got one and hot power washed it before fitting and removed as much of it as possible, good rub down and couple coats two pack, drill a few holes and waxoyl like the insides of the box sections where possible, you'd have a good job.
