Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How come there's been little fuss about the dominance of male composers' music in our National Concert Hall? Are our feminists only concerned with theatre? Or is classical music above all this quota nonsense?

It is above the quota nonsense. It just wouldnt make any sense - there just isnt enough music by female composers that people are interested in listening to.

A legacy of a different age. But when that age was pretty exclusively a male domain, and the interest is in music of that time, then the music performed is going to be pretty much male composer exclusive.

Making a fuss on this point would only make our feminists look stupid.
