Led Light Bar legal ?

    Can anyone tell me is it legal to have an Led light bar on a jeep coming on with the high beam or do they need to be on a switch ?

    Q2. Is there a max power limit on lights for road use ?

    Definitely illegal for road use and extremely inconsiderate of other road users.

    I'd assume they're fine coming on with high beam.

    I would say, if it is wired to dip with headlights it will be considered a head light.

    All head lights must be the same colour.
    Head lights must be spaced at least 2 feet apart except If four headlights are installed they must be installed in pairs, with the pairs spaced at least 2 feet apart.
    All lights that are extinguished when dipping must be replaced by a dipped lamp.
